CranioSacral Therapy I Workshop (CST I)
CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on technique to help detect and correct imbalance in the craniosacral system that may be the cause of sensory, motor or neurological dysfunction.
The craniosacral system consists of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal chord. It extends from the bones of the skull, face and mouth-which make up the cranium -down to the sacrum , or tailbone area.
The 4-day CranioSacral Therapy I (CST I) workshop is designed to teach you the detailed anatomy and physiology of the craniosacral system and its relationship to health and disease. The Upledger Institutes “learning by discovery” method followed by class discussion of your findings will enable you to gain better awareness of the tactile information you sense in your palpatory explorations.

CranioSacral Therapy II Workshop (CST II)
The CranioSacral Therapy II workshop delves further into the principles presented in CST I, bringing you to a higher level of understanding and performance in the art and science of CranioSacral Therapy.
During this 4-day course, you'll explore the function of the craniosacral system in relation to other physiological body systems. Through lectures, demonstrations and hands-on practice, you'll cover a range of topics, including:

SomatoEmotional Release I Workshop (SER I)
SomatoEmotional Release is a dynamic therapeutic process that expands on the principles of CranioSacral Therapy to help rid the mind and body of the residual effects of trauma. Research shows that the body retains the imprint of physical forces from accidents, injuries and emotional shock. Those dysfunctional areas are frequently isolated in what Dr. Upledger calls “energy cysts”. SomatoEmotional Release gives you the manual and verbal processing skills to help release those destructive patterns from the minds and bodies of your patients that appear over the years, as the body loses its ability to cope with these dysfunctional areas.
The SomatoEmotional Release process require extreme sensitivity on the part of the therapist and a positive attitude and trust from the patient.

SomatoEmotional Release II Workshop (SER II)
SomatoEmotional Release II takes you well beyond the manual and verbal skills taught in SomatoEmotional Release I by incorporating more advance imagery and dialoguing methods. SER II emphasises wholeness and self-healing. You'll begin by reviewing the techniques you studied in CranioSacral Therapy II for releasing the throat and hard palate-you'll use methods to encourage the expression and release of suppressed emotion.
Then the course goes on to introduce the history, key concepts and therapeutic processes of psychosynthesis, Gestalt and Jungian psychologies. These approaches are bended with SER and CST to provide you with specific techniques to assist the release of energy cysts and their accompanying dysfunctions, to resolve incomplete, frustrated biological processes, and to work with the whole body to bring your patient or client to a new level of self-awareness.

Advanced I CranioSacral Therapy Workshop (ADV I)
This is a 5-day workshop where you work in groups of 5. (10 maximum on the workshop). The acceptance of the workshop carries with it the responsibility of daily presence in both group discussions and hands-on practice sessions. During the week, the hours spent doing “multiple therapist” work as therapeutic/facilitative participant on the table as the recipient of the work, and as a contributor to the group discussions serve to create a cohesiveness and bonding of the group which is not easily duplicated under any other circumstances. Towards this end your presence and participation are crucial to the final outcome of the week. All participants are strongly encouraged to stay at the meeting facility, and in some case it is mandatory. This is a time for sharing, learning, absorbing, self-discovery, self-realization and growth.
Prerequisite: SomatoEmotional Release Module II fully
completed.
CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY TECHNIQUES CERTIFACATION
Upledger Techniques Certification can be taken after CST II.
For information on this please contact the Upledger Institute Ireland . After successful completion of the Techniques Certification examination, a practitioner is CST-T. CranioSacral Therapist, Techniques Certified.
The Techniques Certification Examination involves;

CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY DIPLOMAT CERTIFICATION
A second level of certification can be taken after attending
Advanced I. For information on the Diplomat Certification, please contact the Upledger Institute Ireland . After successful completion of the Diplomat Certification examination, a practitioner is CST-D. CranioSacral Therapist, Diplomat Certified.
